Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty is provided by Amphea Pty Ltd (ABN 84 701 548 049 / ACN 701 548 049) (“Amphea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for Amphea hearing aids purchased through www.amphea.com.au. By using your Amphea product, you agree to the terms of this Limited Warranty.

What Is Covered

Amphea warrants that your Amphea hearing aids — including their internal electronic components and charging case — will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use for a period of 12 months (1 year) from the date of original delivery.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed during the warranty period, we will, at our option, repair your device or replace it with a new or reconditioned unit of equivalent performance, at no cost to you for the covered repair or replacement. A repaired or replaced device is warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 days from the repair/replacement, whichever is longer (or for any longer period required by law).

Who Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser — the person who first bought the product new — and is not transferable. It covers Amphea hearing aids purchased directly from our Australian website, www.amphea.com.au. Proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation) helps us look after your claim quickly. The warranty covers personal, non-commercial use.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

•      Normal wear and tear, or cosmetic changes (such as discolouration) that do not affect performance.

•      Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, or use outside the product’s intended conditions.

•      Damage caused by exposure to water or excessive moisture. Amphea hearing aids are not waterproof and are not intended to be submerged; water damage is not covered.

•      Damage caused by improper cleaning or failure to perform routine maintenance (such as replacing domes and wax guards as needed).

•      Damage caused by repairs, modifications, or servicing not carried out or authorised by Amphea.

•      Consumable and replaceable items — including ear domes, tips, wax guards, and batteries — which are not covered by this warranty.

•      Products that are lost, stolen, counterfeit, or purchased from an unauthorised seller, or with an altered or missing serial number.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you think your device has a defect, please email us first — many issues can be resolved quickly, and we’ll guide you from there.

•      Email us at help@amphea.com.au with your order number, proof of purchase, and a description of the problem.

•      We’ll troubleshoot with you in good faith — sometimes it’s a quick fix or a settings adjustment.

•      If a return is needed, we’ll authorise the claim and provide the return address and instructions. Please pack the device carefully to protect it in transit.

For a valid warranty claim within the warranty period, we cover the cost of the covered repair or replacement, including return postage.

Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law

This Limited Warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and does not limit, exclude or replace any of those rights.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Limited Warranty limits or replaces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
